Introduction :

The belief system of a human is the sum of all what he has learned and experimented, one way or another in his life, filtered with his personality, being thought and discussed about, and a certain moment he says : "For me life is this and that and so it is !" (This is valid for "great" things in life and also for the small things)

Once a belief system found that is not much solicited any more, (by getting older) humans have the tendency to defend it with strength, and even try to impose it on others who did not learn and experiment the same things.

The belief system is the base of all our intrigues, decisions, actions and conversations, because it is by that system that we think doing the right things, and depending on what contains your belief system, you will do good things around you and to yourself, or you will sow terror, or you will do nothing interesting.

Needless to say that it is the belief system who makes it possible for humans to live together (or not) in a given space: a family, a community, a country or a planet.

Now let's analyse this in detail :

What is stronger for humans ?

  1) A scientific proof ?
  2) Or a belief ?

Let's look at these examples first.

1) Boiling water

You come from a planet where there is no water, or not enough for being really interested, and you have the same type of personality and the same evolution as on earth.
You meet an earth scientist who tells you that the water heated up at 100°C begins to make bubbles and is evaporating. The scientist also tells you that it is always at this temperature that the water starts to boil, and there's no mystery about this because everybody uses water and they all know this.
Then you take a sample of the water back to your spaceship that is parked on top of a mountain of 6000 meters high (18.000 feet), and you begin to warm it up. You notice it begins to boil let's say at 80°C. Then you take it back to your planet (where there is a atmospheric pressure 3 times that from earth) and when heating up it only boils at let's say 120°C. And during your journey back, you left the water in a part of your ship that was not pressurized, and you saw it boil around 0°C.
There's a big chance that you will think that the earth scientist didn't know much about his water, and as the planet earth is composed of 2/3 of water on it's surface, and as everybody there was convinced that the water boils at 100°C, you don't have to ask what a bunch of dumb people on that planet.(Remember : they had the same type of evolution as on earth)
In this case, a scientific proof (the scientist who told it and the earth families who experiment it every day..) did not convince the visitors. (Change their belief system) In fact, all this "incomprehension" in this simple example, is based on the fact that the boiling temperature of liquids change with the atmospheric pressure.

2) The extraterrestrials

A group of 30 persons who are hikers are walking in nature far away from the inhabited zones, when suddenly a thing appears above their heads. (Let's admit that this is a true spaceship from extraterrestrial origin with an advanced technology)
The ship is very large (100 m or 300 feet in diameter) and doesn't make any noise. Lights give a very bright light without being able to determine the origin of the light. The ship hovers a few minutes above the group and finally disappears with an incredible acceleration, impossible to support by human beings.
There will be first a little panic, but when things are stable, there will be a great astonishment among the group and for some an amazement.
Shortly said, there will be all kinds of reactions from the group of hikers, depending on their knowledge and personality. But one thing is common : they all saw the same thing, and by chance, two of the group members had the presence of mind to take a few pictures. Once returned from their tour, the group members had a strong urge to tell everyone what they had seen, convinced of the reality of their vision.(because everybody had seen the same, and they had taken some pictures). Unfortunately, the belief system of the others, wherein it is written that extraterrestrials do not exist, will not accept this information. Then psychologists and psychiatrists are called to analyse the event. There is a big chance that the result of the analysis of the testimonials will be something like : It was a collective hallucination, and the photographs were faked. And the group members will be lucky if they aren't taken to a psychiatric hospital to give then a few "shots" to recover from the tiredness of their walk.

Needless to say what reaction the group will have when treated that way.(I will never say anything again !)And there is also the reaction of the others towards the group : It's dangerous to take a walk like that in nature, it should be prohibited. Here we can see a clash of two belief systems, the belief system of the others that didn't see the event and refuse to accept the information although the scientific proof of 30 times the same story and a few pictures. The belief system of the others is stronger than the scientific proof. Of course, in the above example there are other elements that are in favour to the non-existence of extraterrestrials: The military supreme power, the religions, the government..are all groups of people who do not "wish" to see the existence of extraterrestrials as true, and will do everything to deny or debunk that kind of observations.

3) Homeopathy

A person suffers from eczema, and visits a specialized doctor of skin diseases on the advice of their home doctor. After a few years of treatment (ointments, anti-allergia, de-sensibilisations..) the result is the following : The ointments are OK, but if stopped, the eczema comes back. And when used too often, there is a tendency to turn to asthma. The anti-allergic work well, but they make the head a little "dizzy", and those drugs attack the liver with all its consequences.(sickness, pain..) And finally the de-sensibilisation did not work for that person because there were too much secondary effects. So now what?
Finally this person decides to visit a homeopath doctor, and after analysis of this doctor and a few months of treatment, the eczema and asthma are reduced to a minimum (supportable) without ointments, and anti-allergic treatments.. but simply with little white granules with strange names. Then during a visit of that person to his family doctor (for a flu), the person explains his/her experience with the homeopathy, and the doctor answers : But Mr/Mrs , there is nothing in those granules because the dilution of the active substance in there is so big, that based on Avogadro's number (6,02214199 x 10 ²³ atoms / mol) there are no more molecules of the active substance present. So these granules are only little white sugar balls without effect, so if you are cured by these granules, then it's the hazard, and you would have been cured anyway, even if you didn't take them.
Here again, the belief system of that person is strongly solicited by the family doctor, and maybe that of the doctor too, because it's maybe already the fifth person who tells him a similar story on one week. (but he won't show it) Here the proof and the experience of that person are not strong enough to change the doctors belief system. There are of course enormous consequences for the doctor like : questioning the university teachings, re-questioning the traditional medicine completely because it would seem "incomplete".., and all this will make the belief system of the doctor stay in place. (strengthened also by his ego and the fear of being ridicule among his colleagues)

4) Conclusion :

We can see in these tree examples that the strongest is always the belief system, and not the scientific proofs. It is the same for a lot of other domains, and especially for the domain of beliefs itself. (religions)
So a lot of people say when they are presented a new information : I don't believe it ! I need a scientific (or other) proof. I can already say to those people that even if they are presented a scientific proof before their very eyes, that it will not be evident to believe in it.
Remark : Why is it that you easily believe the scientific proofs above the people who lived a situation or an experience ? The scientists could be lying ! Or they can be corrupted. (Especially when big commercial interests or powers are at stake) In fact, the human belief system is most vulnerable and therefore quickly destabilized by new information, and it is also the most protected system. (refusal to modify it) The belief system is also the most envied by the great powers who will try to "bend" it their way. (Manipulations, lies, media, politics..)

It goes even further : the belief system is the base of life itself, because can you imagine a person who believes nothing, who is certain of nothing, and is happy with his life ? (usually a person that tells you : I'm sure of nothing any more.. is in an appalling emotional state) Generally, to prevent of being destabilized too often, and to have a feeling of security for their beliefs, people will form groups with the same ideas like :
  * Groups of different religions
  * Sects
  * Politic parties or other groups based on an ideal (like financially)
  * Different scientific thoughts (Darwinism, Big-bang adepts..)

Grouping of people give more strength to reject the beliefs of others. (If they have a scientific proof or not) In fact : The human belief system is a parameter to be able to lead a happy life. Imagine a person who believes profoundly in money, and nothing else, (atheism) but doesn't have the qualifications to find a job or an activity that will give him/her that money, this leads straight to a depression or rebellion with consequences as stealing, violence..etc.

So what do we have to do with a new information that is challenging our belief system ? Believe it or not ?

We will see in the following chapters that the ultimate decision is ours, and that nothing or nobody can decide in our place, and if you have tested personally a new information several times, and with success, WHO is going to tell you the contrary ? And even better : if your belief system contains the tested information why the other belief systems do not hold together, then as an individual you become strong, unshakeable and as a result you begin to smile, and that smile lasts for a long time. Because in that case, nor the best sect leader, nor the greatest political speaker, nor the smartest scientists with a lot of diploma's will be able to convince you of something.
Generally, when somebody tries to convince you of something, it is usually for their advantage, and the purpose of this website is the opposite, to propose to modify your belief system, so it is advantageous for you. (But of course, you don't have to…)

5) Evolution.

You have probably seen that all the information channels (television, radio, newspapers, magazines, schools..) except the internet (because of it's uncontrollable nature) will not defy seriously your belief system to the point of changing your behaviour. (except maybe some negative behaviours).

This is normal because we are in a consumption society (yes, the third world also, with the difference that they have much less money to buy) and the media are there to please you, and to make you consume. (commercials) The media will also harass you a little with miscellaneous negative news items (robberies, killings, rapes, wars, epidemics..) to make you consume other products like insurances, vaccines, weapons..

But they will never shock you really with something like life isn't what it seems to be, and as a consequence to question our society as a whole, and of course question the media itself. (information or disinformation?)
If our present belief systems makes that 80% of the world's population is hungry, and that of the 20% left who can eat, 65% think that life is really hard and not very interesting, then you can say that these "belief systems" are not really "appropriate" to let mankind live in peace on the planet.

For the moment, the belief systems spread on our planet are only interesting for a small minority of people (financial - power). So it is clear that this minority, who controls the media, will do all they can to reject the other (better) belief systems, or to transform them to their advantage.

The major belief systems of our world is a bit like a "measure" of our evolution. So if we would like to evolve and live together in a better way, we necessarily have to begin to change or renew our belief systems.
(That is where the following expression comes from : If you want to change the world, begin with yourself.)

Of course, as everybody has the right to think what he wants, (luckily) and if your life is wonderful, and better living together doesn't say anything to you, then the rest of the chapters are not for you, and you may quit reading here.

But in that case, I have to add that you have to accept the consequences of your decision, and if someone has the same vision of life as you do, (wonderful life and living better together doesn't interest him) and his/her life is wonderful to the detriment of yours, (example : a boss that is rich thanks to your work) then you have to accept that situation without complaining, because you have chosen the same attitude.
When all is well for you, try to find out if it is not because someone else has "lost" something. (you will see that this is often the case especially on high levels. (rich / poor countries, boss - financial /workers, military / people) .

Now for the most brave of you (Yes! you have to be brave to defy your belief system) here are some new elements . (in fact they are not new, they are thousands of years old, but they are a little bit "forgotten")

We will now switch from "seeing is believing" to "believing is seeing", because, as we have seen in the introduction, the scientific proofs do not work anyhow.

Analyse the following statements :

  1) All humans have intuition.
  2) All humans have the creative power of thought.

With creative thought power, I mean that thoughts have an effect on the circumstances of your life, and all around you, even if that thought has never been expressed. It's a direct action of thought on matter.

These two statements defy the belief system of many people : Intuition ? that's for the women, and if they have seen or felt something in advance, it could be by chance. The creative thought power ? A thought is a thought and has nothing to do with reality, because I often think about something and my reality is completely different.

Are there scientific proofs for the intuition and creative thought power ? There are some. Some scientists (Lyall Watson, Rupert Sheldrake) have done some research on the subject, and have found interesting things. But also other scientists have found that the results of their findings were not better than "hazard" and therefore decided to reject the whole thing.
Again, if you wait for a scientific proof, you may wait for a long time, and even if one day there is one, it is still not sure that most people will believe it.
A good example of this is the warming up of the earth. 90% of the actual scientists agree that earth is warming up due to the release of carbon dioxide by man. But when the people see a long and cold winter, they say : "They (the scientists) don't know anything, it's more like getting colder" And there are those that the global warming doesn't fit in their financial calculations, and will deny the scientific proof. (American government)

Let's return to the two statements :
If these two statements seem interesting to you, (you are courageous to defy your belief system, and to confront the scorn and despise of others, because they don't want to change their belief system that they find strong and resistant) and you want to test them yourself, here's how to do it:
